Architect and Director

Daniel studied Architecture at Oxford Brookes University, qualifying as an Architect in 2008. He has worked for architectural practices on a wide range of projects including social housing, supported living and ecclesiastical designs for the Roman Catholic Church.

Daniel has a particular interest in vernacular architecture and the regeneration of historic buildings and environments. He has experience working with Listed Buildings and within Conservation Areas to create modern buildings that respond to their setting.

Daniel understands the importance of low energy architecture and the challenges posed by climate change. He has an appreciation for sustainable issues; creating low energy buildings, using sensitively chosen materials and creating exciting spaces.

Project Architect

Catherine studied at the University of Liverpool, Oxford Brookes University, and the University of Westminster. She has worked on a range of sectors in practice but her heart lies in residential projects. Catherine views architecture as a crafted experience with people at the centre, which she has brought to her residential work with interiors, extensions, one-off homes, social housing, and small-scale development projects.

Her on-going passion for conservation and regeneration feeds into the belief that existing buildings have an important role in our environmental impact and that architecture (new or old) shouldn’t literally cost us the earth.

When she’s outside the office Catherine can often be found experimenting in her workshop or going on long walks with Aila the golden retriever.

Architectural Assistant

Thomas studied Architecture at The University of Nottingham, where he achieved a first and won the structural engineering award for the undergraduate programme in the summer of 2023. Throughout his studies he focused his work on renovating derelict industrial areas through community centric programmes with the industrial vernacular being continued into the new designs.

Thomas’ passion within architecture is materials, both how we use them within construction and the energy required to make them for construction. Throughout his studies he worked with alternative materials such as FLAM and propolis doing his own research to viability of new materials within architecture.
