Beaconsfield Road is a development of two houses for a local developer. The project involves the demolition of a bungalow and the construction of two four bedroom semi detached houses . The site is deemed to be a sensitive location due to its proximity to Tring Cemetery and the recently extended Conservation Area.
In order to enhance the setting and the varying house types of Beaconsfield Road, we have looked at developing a modern design using brickwork detailing and a pitched zinc roof. The houses will be low energy utilising air source heat pumps for heating and hot water and PV solar panels to offset electrical consumption. We are also looking at options for a low energy timber framed construction using sustainably sourced timber.
