Castle Hill Avenue // Berkhamsted
A full width two storey extension and internal refurbishment of a 1930s property in the Castle area of Berkhamsted. To the rear we created a full width two storey extension with first floor brick gables sitting above ground floor glazing, separated by a zinc fascia. The project involved the sensitive renovation of the front of the house by creating a wider front door with replacement windows and insulated dormers. Internally we opened up a narrow lobby area to create a spacious double height space with a new stair. The new lobby also opens up views through the house and towards the garden.
